The FR Skates AXS Junior are adjustable junior inline skates designed to provide young skaters with maximum safety, comfort, and performance. Intended for both learning and discovering Urban Skating, FreeRide, and first Freestyle tricks, they put both safety and performance first thanks to their adjustable hard shell construction.
Thanks to their robust design and excellent support, the FR Skates AXS Junior allow children and teenagers to progress with confidence while benefiting from technologies usually found on more advanced models. Designed to support the development of young skaters, the FR AXS feature a highly refined adjustable design. The wheel and frame setup is specifically adapted to each size range to better match children's morphology.
This approach ensures the FR AXS improved balance, enhanced stability, and more natural progression throughout every stage of growth.
One of the key features of this new generation of FR AXS skates is the integration of the innovative Wheel Fixing System (WFS). This technology makes it easier to control speed and stability during the learning phase, providing young skaters with a smoother, safer, and more structured progression.
The FR AXS are equipped with a CNC aluminium FreeStyle frame available in 172 mm, 207 mm, 219 mm, or 231 mm lengths depending on the skate size, offering enhanced manoeuvrability, precision, and versatility. This design ensures responsive control both when learning the basics and when progressing toward freestyle and freeride skating.
The FR AXS Standard wheels, available in 68 mm or 72 mm sizes (up to 76 mm without brake), with a hardness of 85A, provide an excellent balance of grip, riding comfort, and wear resistance. Combined with ABEC 7 bearings, they deliver a smooth and efficient ride that perfectly supports the progression of young skaters.
The hard shell is one of the main strengths of the FR AXS. Adjustable across 4 sizes, it accommodates foot growth while ensuring excellent lateral support. This wide adjustment range allows for extended use and represents a particularly durable and cost-effective solution for parents.
The removable foam liners provide a high level of comfort and excellent foot support while reducing pressure points during long skating sessions.
The closure system combines quick lacing, a micro-adjustable instep strap, and a cuff buckle with memory positioning. This combination ensures a precise fit, effective foot retention, and excellent power transfer while making daily adjustments quick and easy.
The AXS also come with a removable rear brake, allowing the skates to be adapted to the technical level and preferences of each user. It can be removed to provide greater freedom of movement.
