Complete Skateboards

Complete skateboards are fully built boards that arrive ready to ride, so you can skip choosing parts and start pushing. We stock them from Enuff, Fracture, Venom Skateboards, Chocolate, Girl and WKND Skateboards, among others, in junior and full-size widths.

What's in the range

Widths run from 7.25" up to 8.5". Venom Skateboards has 7.25" Junior completes, 7.75" Core completes and 8.0" My First Skateboard kids boards. Enuff includes 7.75" Skully boards and the 8.0" Big Wave. Fracture covers 8.0" and 8.25" boards. For more graphic choice, look at Blind, Zero, Plan B, Polar Skate Co and Santa Cruz.

How to choose

Start with age and height, not shoe size. Riders under 5ft, roughly ages 3 to 10, usually suit a junior board: 7.25" to 7.5" wide and about 29" long. From around 10 to 13, we'd go full-size, with 7.75" for the smaller end of that range. Teenagers can start on 8.0". Adults and taller riders usually start at 8.25", and cruisers may prefer 8.25" to 8.5".

Wider boards feel more stable but are heavier and harder to flip. Narrower boards are lighter and easier to ollie, with less room underfoot. Our complete skateboard deck width guide goes into more detail. Younger riders can browse complete skateboards for beginners and kids, adults can try beginner skateboards for adults, and 8.5 inch complete skateboards give extra width.

Common questions

What size complete skateboard do I need?

Go by age and height. Under 5ft, a junior board is the right fit. Teenagers can start on 8.0", and adults on 8.25". Going narrower or wider is a personal call once you've ridden one.

What should I look for in a cheap skateboard?

Look for a board with correct components that you can actually learn on. Enuff, Venom Skateboards and Fracture are where we point most beginners. A famous graphic doesn't make a beginner board ride better.
