It had been a while since we last sent the team out on a weekender, so the end of April came around and we decided to get on it and take a trip to Bristol.
Skatewarehouse at Shiner HQ
The aim was to spend a weekend with Bristol resident Tobias Moors and skate around the city checking out the local skateparks. We did also have an alterior motive to stop by our favourite supplier warehouse and shoot the Skatewarehouse Shiner TF Takeover!Shiner’s fresh ledge construction by Wheelscape Skateparks
We sent Adam Keats, Aaron Jago, Alex Decunha, Ben Borrill, James Threlfall and Tobias Moors up with Peter Pickford behind the lens to shoot a takeover edit our way and the team did not disappoint! Despite skating late into the night at local skatepark Emerson’s Green the team were ready to pull out all the stops and produce a top quality skate edit to be released by our friends at Pixels
How it all went down at our Shiner TF Takeover!
Alex Decunha, being the machine he is started stacking clips before the rest of the team were even out of the van! Just take a look at his instagram from the day. Once the rest of the team got rolling, Pete was doing a circuit around the Training Facility filming each rider in turn. Poor Pete! Fortunately we had Shiner TF bossman Danger Rob at the ready with camera number 2.Danger on camera no:2 Alex Decunha Bigger Flip over the gap
Once the van legs got warmed up it didn’t take long for everyone to get hyped on the session!
Adam Keats & Toby Moors took in turns to get their lines ending down the long hubba, while Ben Borrill, Slug & James Threlfall got to sessioning the pool coping quarter pipe!
We got lucky with the weather and had a long session at the Shiner TF, by the end of it pushing was definitely not the way forward for the big rail so Ben & Slug joined forces to get the final few clips with a tow in!
